A STUDY ON PSYCHO-SOCIAL, ECONOMICAL BURDENS FACED BY THE PARENTS OF DISABLED CHILDREN’S

Abstract

People with disabilities often face numerous mental, economic and handicaps in physical politics, hampering their ability to engage and grow in society. These obstacles include uncertainty and social stigma of the talents and ambitions of people with disabilities. There is also a marked lack of knowledge, rules and regulations, recovery facilities, and integration and specialized resources for people with disabilities. Mothers are unprepared to cope with the experience of raising a child with disabilities; the aim of the current research is to find out the issues encountered by parents of people with disabilities.
