ABSTRACT

The Huchuy – Qosqo cable car is a project located in the district of Calca – Cusco, whose objective is to improve the accessibility of the archaeological site, identifying environmental and social aspects to mitigate impacts within the project area. It is presented as an alternative to cushion the tourist density present in the citadel of Machu Picchu, turning it into a development point that promotes the growth of the tourism, economic and cultural sector of the local inhabitants, improving the quality of life.
