Abstract. The objective of this research focused on the application of the Modeling Competency Profiles methodology as a Human Talent Management model based on competencies. A descriptive and field methodology was used with a quantitative approach that allowed the development of competency-based profiles. The methodology consisted in the construction of the Human Talent Management System by Competencies. The competency-based models provide organizations with guidelines regarding the organization of their human capital; the type Modeling competency-based profiling allowed aligning the professional development of the worker with the strategic planning of the organization from the survey of labor competency profiles to the evaluation of the competencies required for each profile, giving way to a process of development, training and qualification of the employees.
