Abstract. The Gypsophila paniculata plant needs optimal conditions for growing; however, it has been used, originally, as an accompaniment to flower arrangements. The company Flores Equinocciales S. A. is dedicated to the production of this plant as its main export product. In this study, the production processes implemented in the company were evaluated, identifying the problems associated with the management and malfunctioning of production systems, causing an increase of 298% in its budget. Subsequently, methodologies were implemented for improving the production processes, thus reducing the budget values to 64%. In this way, it was possible to establish improvements in the plant’s production.
