Praise be to God and that is enough, and prayers and peace be upon the chosen Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family.

And after:

This is a study entitled: “Seeking forgiveness and repentance in Surat Al-Nasr, an analytical study”.

This study aimed to conduct an analytical study on seeking forgiveness and repentance in Surat Al-Nasr, by focusing on the names of Surat Al-Nasr, the reason for naming it, its description, its purposes, when it was revealed, and its relevance to the previous surah, and then the victory reached by the Messenger of God Muhammad bin Abdullah – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – and the nature of the victory that God has bestowed upon him or with him, and what his honorable companions, may God be pleased with them, achieved, and also focusing on the glad tidings and signs of Surat Al-Nasr, and the wisdom of the command to seek forgiveness and praise.

This study was presented in an introduction, which includes the objectives of the research, previous studies, and the research plan. Then, I held two chapters; In the first: I dealt with a general conception about Surat Al-Nasr, and in the second: I dealt with the reasons for addressing the Prophet – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – with glorification and seeking forgiveness.

Then I followed this by a conclusion showing the most important results that occurred in this study.

Opening words: seeking forgiveness – repentance – Surat Al-Nasr.
