Abstract

Companies across the globe are experiencing digital transformation of all their business functions including human resource management.. Many studies acknowledge that 98% of data is today collected digitally, necessitating organizations to glean custom insights for improved decision-making.  Hence, there is a huge need for organizations to incorporate HR analytics into their strategic decision-making. Human resource management seeks to assess human resource performance in alignment with organizational goals. HR analytics helps to optimize the workforce by developing employee workflows based on custom metrics and take appropriate course corrective measures. The study examines how HR analytics facilitates improved performance management in an organization. The paper uses the case study methodology to illustrate HR analytics as an innovation technology for human resource management.
