           Abstract:

This study is about “The different meanings for analyzing dreams based on the relationship between dreams’ symbols and language symbols“. This is an indicative analysis topic that discusses the semantic and indicative meanings for language words based on the language fields of synonymy, opposites, similarities, and through the metaphorical meanings for the words. It starts from the original sensual clear meaning to the moral sub meaning of the words, and the relationship between the indication of the dream symbol and the real and metaphoric language meaning. In this study, I used the descriptive, indicative, analytic method, to highlight the diversity of the indicative relation between dream symbols and what it refers to in the real life. It is to show the functional relation for dream symbols and what it indicates to in reality; its function and its effect. It is to highlight the conducive relation of dream symbols for what it leads to in reality, what it causes and ends in. It shows the nature/characteristics of dream symbols and what it refers to in reality, the feelings it gives and thoughts. It is to study the dream inspirations through the lexical function and the daily use function for the words. I came to the conclusion of the possibility of getting the complete indicative meaning for the symbolic dream text through combining the different relations: the functional, the conducive and natural relations with the Arabic vocabulary in its various indicative fields, which results in different meanings, and the connection between the language semantic meaning with the hidden dream symbolic meaning through metaphor, metonymy, indication and others. In addition to this, the dream symbols field is still new to study the meaning and indications of dreams (words and images) and linking them to reality.
