Abstract
Green bonds will have a crucial role to play in financing the commitment necessary for the Climate and Energy 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. This study analyzes the growth and functioning of the green bond industry, including key players and industries, with particular emphasis on funding expenditure to increase resource quality, along with an impact on green bond issuance by Covid-19. Using case studies from various countries, this article offers insight into the exponential development of the green bond sector and the effect of green bonds and on the impact of the pandemic on the green bond market on the sustainability participation of market participants.
