INFLOWS AND OUTFLOWS OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT IN INDIA

Abstract: The time series data of FDI inflow and outflows of India from 2000-01 to 2020-21 was analysed using annual growth rate, compounded growth rate, and trend analysis. The results of analysis revealed increasing trend in FDI inflow and outflows from India. The results clearly show that series of reforms measures adopted by Government of India attracted greater inflow of FDI in India and boosted FDI outflows from India.
