Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction of the workers of the Provincial Municipality of Junín, 2021. It was a quantitative study, with a descriptive correlational level and a non-experimental-cross-sectional design. The sample was probabilistic, made up of 88 workers. Two instruments were applied to measure the study variables, which were validated by 5 experts and their reliability was determined by Cronbach’s alpha, obtaining 0.910 for organizational commitment and 0.897 for job satisfaction. The results on organizational commitment show that 43% (almost always) and 20% (always) express a high sense of organizational commitment. Regarding job satisfaction, 35% are satisfied and 17% are very satisfied. The highest levels of satisfaction are found in the dimensions of the physical environment, followed by satisfaction with supervision and thirdly with social benefits. It is concluded that there is a very high positive correlation with a value of r =, 913 and level of significance p-value < ,000, between organizational commitment and job satisfaction of the workers of the Provincial Municipality of Junín, 2021.
