ABSTRACT

GST is meant to carry every indirect form of tax under one cover. The implementation of Goods & Services Tax (GST) with an come within reach of ‘one nation-one tax’ led instigate many concern among the MSMEs crossways the countries. The main purpose of this study success and operational performance of the MSMEs and Positive and Negative impact of GST on Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. The impact resulted in optimistic as well as negative perception in manufacturing and service sectors of MSMEs. This study tries to find out the impact of such supposed impacts on the increase opportunities of MSMEs in Nagercoil Town. They recommended that a mechanism for instant praise should be developed which will help MSMEs in adaptable their cash flow and observe their working capital. We conclude that apparent impact of GST on MSMEs is considerably associated with the type of enterprise i.e. manufacturing sector apparent the adverse impact on GST on its business operations while service sector MSMEs do not observe it considerably. It is establish that apparent impact of GST does not differ considerably crossways the business sizes in manufacturing sector but it does in service sector. The growth of the manufacturing sector MSMEs is considerably affected by perceptions of ease of doing business and awareness & knowledge connected to GST; while in service sector MSMEs, further two perceptions viz. transparency and reorganisation of purchase & supply chain, are considerably affecting the growth or expansions of business as the apparent impacts caused by the GST in Nagercoil Town.
