OBSTACLES TO DISTANCE EDUCATION DURING THE CORONA PANDEMIC (COVID-19)  FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF STUDENTS AND FACULTY AT SAUDI UNIVERSITIES

    The aim of the study was to identify obstacles to distance education during the Corona pandemic (Covid-19) from the perspective of students and faculty at Saudi universities. To achieve the objectives of the study, the analytical descriptive curriculum was used ,the resolution was used as a tool for study, the study community shall be composed of all students and faculty members of Saudi universities in the academic year (1442AH) , the sample was randomly selected and 158 students and 137 faculty members responded. The results of the study showed that the obstacles to distance education during the Corona pandemic were (Covid-19) From the point of view of the students and faculty of Saudi universities came with a degree Both (average) and the results of the study showed no statistically significant differences at a significant level (0.05) Among the average responses of students and faculty at Saudi universities to distance learning impediments during the Corona pandemic (Covid-19) attributed to a variant (specialization). The study recommended the importance of adopting distance education as a supportive method of traditional education in normal settings rather than as a method of education for emergencies and crises, developing distance learning systems to be able to cope with, overcome and overcome the difficulties and constraints faced by their users, and identifying and benefiting from the success, failure or disruption of distance learning experiences.
