Abstract

The current research aimed to reveal the impact of using some patterns of augmented reality (projection – based on object recognition) in developing the learning and skills to produce and use augmented reality technology among a sample of faculty members. To achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher designed an experimental treatment material represented in two programs using augmented reality technology, one of which is a projection based augmented reality, and the other is augmented reality based on object recognition. The researcher used tools represented in (achievement test- skills list). The research tools and experimental treatment were applied to the research sample, using the semi-experimental approach in an attempt to find which of the two patterns have an impact on the development of the dependent variables in research. Both patterns have been found to be effective in developing the aspects of learning that discussed in the research. As for any of the two patterns which had a greater impact than the other, it became clear that the projective reality mode had a greater impact than the object recognition mode in developing those aspects.
