THE IMPORTANCE OF USING THE TABLETS IN TEACHING STUDENTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES FROM TEACHERS’ PERSPECTIVES

Abstract

The goal aimed to explore the level of importance of using tablets in teaching students with learning disabilities from teachers’ perspectives. A survey instrument was designed, and study sample consisted of special education teachers (Learning Disabilities) in Riyadh city (191 teachers) who were selected randomly. The results indicated that teachers see the importance of using tablet devices in teaching students with learning disabilities. Also, the results of the study indicated that the teachers’ view of the use of tablets in the evaluation of students with learning disabilities was positive and there were no differences between males and females on the importance of using Tablets in teaching students with learning disabilities. There were no statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.05 in the responses of the study sample members on the importance of using tablet devices in teaching students with learning disabilities attributable to the different years of teaching experience. The results showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.05 attributable to the impact of teachers training.
