THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE APPLICATION OF FAST READING ON TABLET DEVICES SMART IN TEACHING SOME OF THE SKILLS OF READING FOR PUPILS WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES

Abstract

The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of the application of speed reading on smart tablets in teaching some reading skills for students with learning difficulties. Formed a sample study of 14 students registered for the programme in the private area of Qassim The researcher used a quasi-experimental design using a pre-post measurement for two groups, one experimental and the other control, in order to achieve the objectives of the study. The experimental group used the speed-reading app on smart devices in teaching, and the control group was taught in the traditional way. The results of the study showed that the presence of fur with significance statistically between the mean performance of the two groups (experimental and control) in the results of a test posttest in the skill of reading words by one character, three in reading interpretation, for the benefit of the experimental group, as the results of the study showed interest in each of the teachers. The students Batched is a tablet device. The study followed the semi-experimental approach by dividing the study sample into two groups. The experimental group using the “Rapid-Reading” application on smart devices and the control group in normal fulfilling the results of the study showed an increase in word reading in oral reading for the benefit of the experimental group members. In addition, the result of the implementation of the intervention was well received by both teachers and students.
