Abstract

This study aims to identify the challenges facing learning difficulties teachers in teaching distance mathematics within the virtual classes of pupils with mathematics learning difficulties at the primary level. The study tool is designed to measure challenges and verify the signs of their sincerity and persistence. The current study used the analytical descriptive approach. Included gender variables (male and female) and academic qualification (undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate). Arithmetic averages, standard deviations, grades, and percentages were used to address the results, and the results indicated the high level of challenges in the three dimensions, with student-related challenges in the first place on average. (3.75) Second were the challenges of learning in virtual classes on average (3.67) This is evident in the high average of some of the paragraphs that present a clear challenge, such as the use of computer-catalyzed strategies in virtual classes. This may be due to poor training in the use of strategies that stimulate these students, take account of individual differences and increase their motivation. The teacher’s challenges in teaching mathematics ranked third on average (3,34).
